How Does It Work and Place an Order?

Reserve your Flying Stork lawn sign in advance or place your order at least 24 hours ahead of expected delivery of new born baby announcement.

Please feel free to contact us anytime. We are open 24 hours a day seven days a week. We accept almost all credit cards.

We will need the spelling of the baby’s first and middle name, weight, length and date of birth. Also please have the delivery address, phone number, and any special delivery instructions included in notes.

Flying Storks strives to arrive before mom comes home from the hospital, so let us know when mom and baby will be discharged. Our adorable 6 ft stork and personalized keepsake bundle will announce the BIG news for (7) days. Upon removal of the stork, the parents will be left with the personalized bundle to treasure forever. Surprise your loved one with this memorable gift!

How far in advance should I order the announcement?

As soon as the baby arrives, give us a call to request a Flying Stork delivery. We strive to have Flying Stork Sign delivered before mother and baby arrive home from the hospital.

For a Flying Stork Baby Shower or Gender reveal, a two week pre-order is a good idea.

What information do I need before placing the order?

The spelling of the baby’s first and middle name, weight, height and date of birth. We also require the delivery address, phone number, gate code if applicable and if there is a sprinkler system in the yard.

How do I place my order and pay for the rental service?

Most orders are made via phone to 301-606-3091, or by completing the order form on our web site. You may also email us at FlyingStorks@gmail.com with all the necessary information to get it started.)
Stork rentals must be paid in advance prior to delivery. Call us with the credit card number to process payment.We accept almost all credit cards.

Where do you deliver?

All areas of Frederick, Frederick County, and Most areas of Northern Montgomery County, Maryland. Please refer to the Pricing/Coverage page for other locations.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery is included in all of Frederick County and much of Northern Montgomery County, Maryland.
*We are often able to accommodate rentals that are greater distance for an additional charge. Please contact us for more information.

When will the Stork be delivered and picked up?

We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We will always strive to arrive before mom comes home from the hospital. The standard rental period is (7) days. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance of when you would like the Stork Announcement’s delivery.

Does someone need to be home when the stork is delivered?

There is no need for someone to be home for the stork to be delivered. If there is a special area you would like us to place the stork lease notify us during the reservation process. Also, please advise us of any special instruction for delivery. We will leave a note for the family with your message.

Do you offer sibling signs?

Yes, we offer sibling star signs. The signs will be displayed next to the stork. The proud big brother(s) and sister(s) enjoy feeling included in this special time, and they especially love seeing their name displayed on the front lawn.
The following options are available for sibling signs:
(Name) is a proud big brother/sister!
(Name) is promoted to big brother/sister!
(Name) welcomes home Baby (Name)!

What service do you offer for multiple births?

We normally set up a separate sign for each baby. The first sign is priced at the regular rate. Each subsequent sign is rented at a discount. Please refer to our ‘Pricing’ page. At the end of the rental period the new parents or grandparents will keep each personalized bundle.

What service do you offer for the happy Grandparents?

If a grandparents’ sign is ordered at the same time as the sign for the new parents, the rental price is at a 50% discount. The grandparents’ bundle will state “It’s A Grandson!” or “It’s A Granddaughter!” and is not kept after the rental. If the grandparents would prefer a personalized bundle, which includes the baby’s name and/or birth information there is an additional charge of $20.00. They keep it at the end of the rental period.
